Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco and moved to California when she was five. Her family lived mainly living in Orange County. She graduated in 2015 from the University of California San Diego and got her first break as an actress. After a brief appearance on NCIS as well as Leverage Pernas was offered the role as Marisa Sierras in The Young and the Restless. After leaving the soap opera in 2016 the actress scored a recurring role in Jane the Virgin as Catalina. She is a model who speaks four languages was later seen on The Brave as Hannah Rivera, The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Between 2019 and 2020, she played Lexi Vaziri in Blood & Treasure. Us Weekly revealed in May of 2020 that Pernas has been seeing Justin Hartley, her The Young and the Restless co-star. The romance started after Chrishell Stause, the This Is Us actress split in the month of November. News broke in May 2021 that Pernas and Hartley have recently got married during a secret ceremony.
