Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multi-cultural household. Her birthplace was within South London. The mother of her child is English and her father Nigerian. She was born on a south London council estate, and at the age of 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She was a student of acting in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She performed in various stage productions during her school days, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe's acting career started in the series Storm Damage. Since then, she's appeared as a guest for Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was in Woody Allen's 2007 Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Then, she was the lead in Elisha on an episode of the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In addition, she appeared as Ollie in the six episodes in the series Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, she was cast as Bambi who was the leading character on ITV2's comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was also the title character in How to lose friends & alienate people that was aired by Sony Pictures Entertainment back in 2008. Her theatre credits include Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe made her US debut with The Beautiful Life in 2009. The series aired only two episodes on The CW, and was then removed from the air. Ashley Davenport was her role in ABC's drama Revenge. The show premiered in May 2013 and it was revealed that Madekwe, who played a regular role in the past two seasons, had decided to quit the show with a guest appearance on the first episode of the season's new episode. She was Tituba in the program Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe, her long-time companion, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Her parents were Roy and Patty along with her older brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. The four brothers of Ashley, who were all extremely physically active, were all playing hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summers, meaning she basically grew up in parks and arenas. Ashley was never able to walk but she was able to dance. At the age of two, she took up Baby Ballet and fell in with. Ashley was addicted to dance since that time. Ashley was a competitive dancer across all major divisions until she finished high school. She was a competitor in jazz, tap, ballet as well as pointe and the acrobatics. She also won best soloist awards at all major dance contests, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more.
