Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1961) was born on 19 August 1961. She is an American author, and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She was previously an assistant professor of Law at Law School at the University of Washington Law School. She provided legal commentary on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor as well as National Public Radio. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File alongside Megyn Kelly, Lou Dobbs Tonight, the Imus morning shows and is the host of the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and graduated from West Valley High School in Yakima. She graduated with a bachelor's diploma in English from Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 as well as the Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl served as she was a US attorney. She worked as the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigating Counsel for the Democrats of the House Judiciary Committee, during the impeachment of Clinton. Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 until 2001. She managed their Trial Advocacy Program. She worked as an analyst for Fox News from 2001 until 2017.
