Katherine Jean Bolduan professionally known as Kate Bolduan is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most well-known role is the anchor for the CNN morning program At This Hour. She had previously been a cohost of the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's award-winning coverage for the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. Bolduan was a correspondent from Washington, DC who covered the activities of both the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan's reports on the activities of Congress and events during her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiations to raise the debt limit for the US, as well as deliberations by the super-committee. As a general assignment reporter she's covered events including those of Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and also the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. In 2007, she became a part of CNN as a correspondent for the national in 2007 for CNN Newsource. She was an CNN Newsource national correspondent, providing breaking news and reportage on feature stories to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations.
